I have a great news for cricket lovers in Pakistan. Pakistan is going to host next Asia cup 2020 if Asian Cricket Council’s security team give clearance then Pakistan will host the event otherwise the event will be shifted to UAE.
The venue of the event has not yet been decided and if Pakistan gets clearance from ACC then six Asian teams will participate in that event including India, Sirilanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.
The said decision was taken during the annual meeting of Asian Cricket Council (ACC) on last Thursday. The next T20VAsia Cup has been scheduled in September 2020 a month before the big cricketing event “World T20 Cup” in Austraila.
Pakistan last time hosted Aisa Cup back in 2008 and after the attack on SiriLankan team Pakistan never hosted any international Cricket event, However Pakistan hosted World II, West Indies, and Zimbway after that incident.
If Pakistan gets security clearance from ACCs team then it will be great news and a big event for Pakistanis after almost 12 years.
